    I think I may have found a bug.
    I'm using a BitmapRenderer and a PixelRenderer with the same canvas, wich its top-left corner is negative (i.e. using a Rectangle(-100,-100,200,200)), so that (0,0) is in the center of the canvas.

    The thing is, when I switched to a BitmapLineRenderer, regardless of the canvas, particles created at (0,0) would be created at the top-left corner of the renderer, as if this renderer doesn't support negative coordinates.

    Is this a bug, or a limitation of some sort?

    There was a bug in the BitmapLineRenderer. Sorry about that. I've fixed it and checked the fix into SVN, including new SWC libraries if you're using them rather than the source code. Thanks for letting me know about the issue.
