    Using the 'Flash' fire from 2.0, I include Frame1.as into a movieclip called 'pfire' in my movie.

    When I compile I receive a warning saying
    1180: Call to a possibly undefined method FireBlob.

    from the line
    fire.addInitializer( new SharedImage( new FireBlob() ) );
    in the AS file.

    What's wrong?

    Thanks for any help!

    You need a symbol in the library that is experted (via the linkage) as a class called FireBlob. If you look in the Fla for the example, you'll see this symbol in the library.

    Thanks Richard, that got rid of that error. Problem is, now when I place the MC on the stage, it simply won't display any fire.

    I've made sure that I've included in the MC as well (through include (Fire.as))

    Update:

    Figured it out, simple spacing problem I didn't check for.
