    Just a quick note to say thanks for Flint - it's a pleasure to work with... I put together a quick Christmas card using Papervision 3D and some code based off the snow tutorial - you can see it here:

    http://www.kelvinluck.com/2008/12/happy-christmas-and-happy-new-year/

    I used a BitmapDataZone as a DeathZone so that the snow piles up as it hits the foreground image which makes quite a cool (although not at all realistic) effect...

    I'm currently working on another more impressive little experiment with Flint - I'll let you know when it's done :)

    Hi,
    Can someone explain me how to make the snow piles up on the foreground image please ?

    I used BitmapDataZone like this but the particles disapears when they fall in the zone, I don't know how to keep the snow on the image :

    emitter.addAction( new Move() );
    emitter.addAction( new DeathZone ( new BitmapDataZone( bitmapData, 507, 314 ), false ) );
    emitter.addAction( new DeathZone( new RectangleZone( -10, -10, 1030, 780 ), true ) );
    emitter.addAction( new RandomDrift( 20, 20 ) );

    ps : sorry if my english isn't good ^^'

    One way would be to listen for the particle dead event and then draw the dying particle's image into another layer on screen and into the bitmap used in the death zone.
