Im trying to create a fireflies effect ( i dont know the proper name for it ). You know how wood parts tend to fly off when they burn and they look like fireflies. So i am experimenting with a rectangle zone at the base of the fire. And an upwards velocity and a random drift and some blur and fade so it has motion blur.

But in After effects i would put in a turbulence field to give the random motion of air.

Can i do that with flint particles. it would look so much more realistic

The only actions that I can think of in Flint for this sort of thing are

    1. RandomDrift - you'll need to make it quite strong for that turbulence effect

    2. Jet - applies accelerate within a zone - create a number of small zones of different accelerations to simulate the turbulence
