    I think we have all seen some version of scorched earth make its way to flash at some point or another, but none I have seen have the original effect of falling terrain that fills in. They simply erase a circle from the bitmapdata and call it a day, so if you shoot into the side of a mountain, eventually it looks like you are taking bites out of an apple.

    What I'd like to explore is taking the top of the 'apple core' anything that is hanging over open air beneath, convert that area to particles, and then let them fall and fill in the land beneath it.
