I m trying to create a sparckel effect but cannot get the particles to dissapear when they stop moving. They get emmited with a Lifetime of (0.1, 0.2) so they quickly stop moving, but then they stay ...
emitter = new Emitter2D(); emitter.counter = new Random(50, 150);
emitter.addInitializer(new SharedImage(new Star(6))); emitter.addInitializer(new ColorInit(whiteColor, whiteColor)); emitter.addInitializer(new Velocity( new DiscZone( new Point(0, 0), 300, 10))); emitter.addInitializer( new ScaleImageInit( 0.5, 1)); emitter.addInitializer(new Lifetime(0.1, 0.2));
emitter.addAction( new Age()); emitter.addAction( new Fade()); emitter.addAction( new Move()); emitter.addAction( new LinearDrag(1)); emitter.addAction( new Accelerate(0, 30)); emitter.addAction( new RotateToDirection());]]>

I tried your code exactly and the particles faded and disappeared very quickly - in the specified 0.1 to 0.2 seconds. If it's still not working for you, can you put your swf online somewhere so we can see it failing - it will make it easier to diagnose the problem.
