It seems whenever I try to use a glow filter on my particles the glow effect just keeps expanding and goes crazy.
Is this normal? If not what am I doing wrong?

Hi
It probably is normal - since the glow is applied every frame before rendering the particles, the glow is applied to the last frame's particles and glow, causing the glow to expand.

It probably is normal - since the glow is applied every frame before rendering the particles, the glow is applied to the last frame's particles and glow, causing the glow to expand.
You need to add your filter as a post-render filter, by setting the second parameter in the addFilter method to true -
renderer.addFilter( myFilter, true );
Then, every frame, the display will be cleared, the particles will be drawn, and then the filter will be applied. Pre-render filters (the default) are applied before the particles are redrawn, and to make this work the screen is never cleared.]]>
