Hello all, first of all, let me say I am really impressed with the Flint Particle System! It is really breathtaking. I developing Flash games using Haxe and AS3 (mostly for learning and fun) and I would like to implement a particle system in my games. Flint looks perfect for what I need, but it doesn't work out of the box with Haxe. I tried a number of things, importing the swc's, etc, but nothing has worked so far. So what I'd like to know is if anyone has any ideas or could point me in the right direction to getting Flint working in Haxe. Thanks for any help!

    Sincerely,
    Leighton

After some further researching, I decided just to roll my own particle system (I just made Particle and Emitter classes) and it isn't very fancy but it worked for my purposes. I still would like to know more about using Flint in Haxe though, so any ideas or thoughts are welcome. To see the crappy particle system I made, check my prototype game (first in Flash): Asteroids

    Sincerely,
    Leighton

I don't know Haxe, and have no plans to learn it, but I'd be very happy to support someone else creating a Haxe version of Flint.
