My other problem is that I want the particles not to fade out when they reach their destination and randomly hang around there. Is there a way I can tell all particles to fade out or remain visible?

With the fade, the particles shouldn't fade out unless you have a Fade action set on them. Again, if that's not the problem can you post some code so we can see what the problem is. ]]>
