    I have a number of particles and want to make them animate to the shape of my bitmapData. I have this working great but when the TweenToZone method is triggered the particles jump and then animate smoothly to their destinations for the remainder of their journey. I would also like to be able to control the speed at which the particles move to the bitmapData shape.

    My other problem is that I want the particles not to fade out when they reach their destination and randomly hang around there. Is there a way I can tell all particles to fade out or remain visible?

    The TweenToZone uses the age of the particle (in fact the energy, but this is related to the age). It sounds like your particles are not brand new when you start the TweenToZone, hence they jump partway along the tweenpath and continue from there. If you need more precise guidance, would you post a code example.

    With the fade, the particles shouldn't fade out unless you have a Fade action set on them. Again, if that's not the problem can you post some code so we can see what the problem is.
