I just found the list of Flex 3 Metadata Tags, explicitly describing the [Embed... syntax used in the Flint Example Code.

That said, during my research I came across the Deprecated Metadata Tag and wonder if it shouldn't be added to the Deprecated classes in Flint. In the FullStagePixelRenderer, for example, we find the following note:

This class exists to allow the continued use of functionality that existed in the PixelRenderer in early versions of Flint.

Perhaps making the class explicitly deprecated would raise awareness for people who may not realize that a more efficient class exists to accomplish the same thing (and to keep people from starting with it in current releases). Thoughts?

    Ok for me :D

Sounds like a good idea. I'll look into it.

Unfortunately, using the Deprecated meta-data tag entirely removes an item from the ASDocs documentation - rather than the documentation explaining the deprecation and what to use instead the class is simply gone. So I've instead modified the docs to hopefully make the status of these classes clearer and will not include the classes in the next major upgrade.

    Sounds great to me!

Too bad about the ASDocs stuff... wonder if that's a bug or if there's a switch you can set to allow Deprecated classes in the docs... weird. :/
