Hi all,
I´m new to this forum. Yesterday i tried the examples and i like flint very much....even if i still have to learn a lot.
As a beginner with particles, i would like to know if it is possible to have a little text representing a particle?
The idea is having about 50 texts flying around (if possible in away3d space)
Has anyone tried this before? -

Hi Fab4ce
Flint can use any display object as a particle, so yes, text fields or movie clips containing text can be used as particles. With the Away3D renderer, any Away3D object can be used as a particle by using the A3DObjectClass initializer, or a display object class can be passed to the A3DDisplayObjectClass initializer to use that as the particle image.

Hey Richard,
Thank you for this information. I will give it a try at the weekend. Your ParticleSystem is great. Thumbs up!
