I have to admit I'm quite new to AS3 and especially flint. Thing is, I've been assigned to create an interactive e-card.
The idea really requires Flint to make it doable.

It goes like this: snow falls, like the snow tutorial pretty much,
but when you mouseover (or hit a hitbox near the center) - the snow is attracted to the middle where it floats, sortof horizontally wobbling gently, within the shape of a pinetree (defined by bitmap is easiest I assume)
The colors would preferably also change from white radialdots to colored radialdots (in a spectrum of typical xmascolors).
When you mouseout again, it just switches to snowmode again, pinetree lights gently drop to deathzone and turn white along the way. Snowfall at the top is restored, etc.

I've been reading for the past few hours and will continue doing so since this is kind of urgent. But I have to admit this is quite dazzling for a mediocre programmer like me.
If anyone can help me even in the smallest bit with this it would be really appreciated. I really wanna learn more about this library, seems so powerful :) ]]>

snowEmitter.pause();
treeEmitter.particles = snowEmitter.particles;
snowEmitter.particles = [];
treeEmitter.resume();

Then, for the tree emitter, use the TweenToZone action with a GreyscaleZone plus maybe a RandomDrift and a ColorChange.

I've not tested any of this so it may not work, but it feels like a good start point. ]]>
