How do I?: Burst an egg or a tomato on screen upon click

I have an application that requires to have an egg/tomato bursting animation. As in it should not disintegrate into small particles like a explosion or fireworks effect , but i need an effect of a tomato/egg being splashed on a wall . I have used flint particles for snowfall effect . Please help me on this one.
