I have 2 images on top of eachother. I want to use a Renderer as a mask for the foreground image, to reveal the background image.

front.addChild(renderer);

I have followed the Grass example for my renderer, which works great.
as soon as I add the renderer into the front image, it works fine, but as soon as I apply it as the mask, it no longer appears, or removes the image.

front.mask = renderer; // Failing

Is this possible? ]]>

Apply cacheAsBitmap to your renderer!

renderer.cacheAsBitmap = true; ]]>
