Would be nice to be able to update aspects of an emitter for greater interactivity. Further I am not quite able to rotate, or move, an emitter.
Any ideas ? -

Hi audas
I have just now tested FollowMouse, RotateEmitter and MoveEmitter and they are working fine. I just checked a new example (called Sparkler) into SVN which uses the FollowMouse. If you're checking out the code from SVN grab the latest, run this example and let me know if it works for you. I'll also put it up in the examples on this site later tonight.
If you want to show us your code we can take a look to see what's going wrong. Just paste it in a reply here.
As far as adding further interactivity to the emitter, I agree and would like to add more activities to the library (suggestions gratefully received). Meanwhile, it's worth bearing in mind that the emitter is a Sprite so can be manipulated just like a Sprite - change its x and y to move it, change its rotation to turn it, etc. Properties that I haven't overriden in the Emitter class (like the alpha, for example) will change the particles as well as the emitter because the particles are inside the emitter's sprite, but they still work. -

I agree, once the sprite is up and running I can do what I wish with this sprite : - (before I go one step further, kudos to your great work) ;
What would be excellent is being able to update say the position of the gravity wells, and other properties (activities, actions etc). This way things can become supremely interactive......
Will take a look at your recent additions regarding FollowMouse. -

Ok, it appears not to work when it is a named object.
myEmitter.addActivity( new FollowMouse() ); -

I don't follow what you mean. When what is a named object? -

audas - The latest version (0.9.4) now lets you update the properties of actions, so you can move gravity wells etc.
