I realy starting to like Flint but i just dont know how to start with this thing I have in my mind.

What I want to create is some sort of rocket that goes up and emitt's particles (like glitter falling from the sky). I have tryed the folowing.

I made one emitter who blasts 1 particle that's going up and as imageclass I used a class with an other emitter who emitt's the glitter. I also added to the main emitter the rotateToDirection emitter. I't looks basicly like is should be but i think there has to be a better way and nicer way it just doesn't look natural.]]>

If you want the rocket particle to continuously emit glitter particles as it rises, it sounds like you could simplify things by using an emitter for the rocket. The activities (there are only a few) affect the emitter in similar ways to the actions affecting the particle. So set-up your rocket emitter to create the glitter, then add the EmitterImage, MoveEmitter, and maybe RotateEmitter activities to move it. You may need another custom activity to apply acceleration to simulate gravity, which would be similar to the acceleration action.

On the other hand, if you want the rocket to rise into the sky and then explode, emitting a bunch of particles when it does so, you could use the PARTICLE_DEAD event, like this. Create an emitter that creates the rockets (may create only one, but could create more). Add a listener to listen for its PARTICLE_DEAD event. When this event occurs, create a new emitter at the dying particle's location. This new emitter creates the explosion of particles as the rocket explodes.

I hope that helps. If you post your existing effect on-line somewhere so we can see it, we may be able to make better suggestions of how to improve the effect.]]>

I used Tweener to move the emitter and it looks verry good know. I'll try to show the project here when it's done.
