First, thanks for the great work on Flint. I'm really new to AS3 and Flint and I'm having some great fun right now.
I wondered if it was possible to pause an emitter for a while, and restart it later. I would like the particles in the system to continue to be actioned during this time, but I want to just stop the flow of new particles for a while. This is actually an interactive application and I only want the particles to be emitted when a key is pressed.
I've tried a few things already, like setCounter(Steady(0)), which doesn't appear to work when trying to change it back to a Steady(50) or something, and pause() but that stalls all the existing particles too, which isn't what I want. Is it possible to do this yet?
Thanks!

The next version will have stop and resume methods on the Steady counter. This is checked into SVN already but is not in the downloads yet (will be 0.9.4). -
